Barq is a desktop download manager with a companion browser extension, distributed by Al-Hammami Store (alhammami.net).
What the extension does. When you download a file or click the Barq button on a video page, the extension sends that link to the Barq application installed on your own computer, through the browser's Native Messaging channel. Downloads are then performed by the Barq app on your device.
Data we collect. The extension does not collect, sell or transfer personal data. It does not send your browsing history, the pages you visit, or the links you download to any server — not ours and not third parties'. All communication happens locally between the browser and the Barq app on the same computer.
Video pages. When a page shows a media player, the extension shows a small Barq button and sends that page's address (URL) to the Barq app on your own computer, so the app can prepare the available qualities before you click. The address goes only to the local app; it is not sent to us or to any server, and the app keeps it only briefly (about 20 minutes) for this purpose. You can hide the button on any site from the extension menu.
Cookies. For sites that require you to be signed in (for example a private video), the extension can pass that site's cookies for the specific link to the Barq app on your computer, only so the app can download what you asked for. Cookies are never sent to us or stored by the extension.
Settings. Your extension settings (such as which file types to capture) are stored locally in your browser.
Licensing and updates (desktop app). The Barq desktop app contacts alhammami.net to check for updates and to verify your trial or license. For this it sends: an anonymous installation ID, a one-way hash of your device ID (not the raw hardware ID), your operating system, CPU architecture and app version, and your license key when you activate one. It does not send your downloads, file names or browsing data.

برق تطبيق لإدارة التنزيلات على الحاسوب مع إضافة للمتصفح، يوزّعه متجر الحمامي (alhammami.net).
ماذا تفعل الإضافة. عند تنزيل ملف أو الضغط على زر برق في صفحة فيديو، ترسل الإضافة ذلك الرابط إلى تطبيق برق المثبت على حاسوبك عبر قناة Native Messaging الخاصة بالمتصفح، ثم يقوم التطبيق بالتنزيل على جهازك.
البيانات. الإضافة لا تجمع ولا تبيع ولا تنقل أي بيانات شخصية. لا ترسل سجل التصفح أو الصفحات التي تزورها أو الروابط التي تنزّلها إلى أي خادم، لا لنا ولا لأي طرف آخر. كل الاتصال يتم محلياً بين المتصفح وتطبيق برق على نفس الجهاز.
صفحات الفيديو. عندما تحتوي الصفحة على مشغّل وسائط، تُظهر الإضافة زر برق صغيراً وترسل عنوان تلك الصفحة إلى برنامج برق على حاسوبك فقط، حتى يجهّز البرنامج الجودات المتاحة قبل أن تضغط. لا يُرسل العنوان إلينا ولا إلى أي خادم، ويحتفظ به البرنامج لفترة قصيرة (نحو 20 دقيقة) لهذا الغرض فقط. يمكنك إخفاء الزر في أي موقع من قائمة الإضافة.
الكوكيز. للمواقع التي تتطلب تسجيل الدخول (مثل فيديو خاص) قد تمرر الإضافة كوكيز ذلك الموقع للرابط المطلوب فقط إلى تطبيق برق على جهازك، حتى يتمكن من تنزيل ما طلبته. لا تُرسل الكوكيز إلينا ولا تخزنها الإضافة.
الإعدادات. تُحفظ إعدادات الإضافة محلياً في متصفحك.
الترخيص والتحديثات (تطبيق الحاسوب). يتصل تطبيق برق بموقع alhammami.net للتحقق من التحديثات ومن الفترة التجريبية أو الترخيص، ويرسل لذلك فقط: معرّف تثبيت مجهول، وبصمة مشفرة باتجاه واحد لمعرّف الجهاز (وليس المعرّف الأصلي)، ونظام التشغيل ونوع المعالج وإصدار التطبيق، والرقم التسلسلي عند التفعيل. لا يرسل تنزيلاتك أو أسماء ملفاتك أو بيانات تصفحك.
